- Authorized Use & Conduct
- Intended Purpose: You may use this site strictly for viewing availability and reserving cabin days at El Capitan Lodge. Any use that circumvents site functionality, involves data scraping, or uses the platform for unauthorized commercial solicitation is prohibited.
- Rule Compliance: You are responsible for following all Club and Cabin rules, including procedures sent via email or physically posted at the cabin.
- Member Privacy & Data Protection
- Confidentiality: Access to member contact information is a privilege granted exclusively for official club use.
- No External Sharing: You are strictly prohibited from sharing or distributing any member’s contact details (name, email, phone) outside of the club for any reason.
- Restricted Use: Member data may not be used for personal gain, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to specific club activities.
- Fees & Membership Access
- Non-Refundable Payments: All membership dues and fees paid via this website are final and non-refundable.
- Access Rights: Payment of dues does not guarantee instant access to the Reservation Calendar or automatic membership in the Hamilton Hikers Club. Access to this site and its tools is managed at the Club’s sole discretion.
- Reservation & Accuracy
- User Responsibility: You must ensure all reservation information and personal contact details (particularly your email address) are kept accurate and up to date.
- No Guarantee of Exclusivity: The Reservation Calendar is the primary scheduling tool, but saving a reservation does not guarantee exclusive cabin access; other members or authorized users may be present during your stay.
- General Disclaimer: Access to this site or the Reservation Calendar does not guarantee access to the cabin itself.
- Statement of Non-Discrimination
- The Hamilton Hikers Clubs operates and maintains El Capitan Lodge under a special use permit from the United States Forest Service through cooperation with the Bitterroot National Forest and the Darby Ranger District. The Hamilton Hikers Clubs shall not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, sex (in educational activities), national origin, age, or disability or by curtailing or refusing to furnish accommodations, facilities, services, or use privileges offered to the public generally. In addition, the holder and its employees shall comply with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, as amended, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended.
- Enforcement
Violation of these terms, including the unauthorized disclosure of member information, will result in the immediate suspension or termination of site access and potential loss of club membership.
Payment of fees and/or Use of this site constitutes your agreement to the the above terms, including the above Statement of Non-Discrimination, the Privacy Policy, Member Use Policy, and the Club By-Laws, without exception
